Vagary. David Hayes, 2014.

Vagary: (n.) an unpredictable instance, a wondering journey; a whimsical, wild, or unusual idea, desire, or action.

I like this word. Explains a lot. Thought this image fit as well. Perfect for a Friday!

River. David Hayes, 2014.

Take a vintage photo...take a picture of it with your iPhone camera app...use your iPad to create an image using this pic. This counts as iphoneography, doesn't it? Hmmm....

Sunset. David Hayes, 2014

I'm in one of those feeling-sorry-for-myself, blah moods today. Could be that it's Monday...or that it's another rainy day. It could also be that my muse has left me. She does that...just leaves and let me stew in my own self-pity when I can't make anything work in my studio. (Actually, I don't think she ever leaves me...it's more that I'm choosing not to listen to her at the moment. We certainly have a love/hate relationship, she and I...)

Shade #30

Shade #30. David Hayes, 2014

It's been awhile since I posted an image from my "40 Shades of A Park Bench" project...so I thought today was as good as any! I built this version sometime ago...and looking at my notes it looks like I did some app stacking on this one! (Check my tags if you want the full list!)

It's Friday...have a great week-end!!

In Studio...

Where? David Hayes, 2014

I have always struggled with the concept of how much time should I be spending "in studio". What you have to understand is that I'm someone who is never happy doing what I'm doing at the moment...that there is always something else I should be doing. Even now my mind is running through its never-ending list of such things. Which brings me back to being "In Studio". I started out this morning with a plan...my yoga class, come home and do some tidying up around the house, and then the rest of the day "In Studio". Well...I did make it to yoga. Then my daughter wanted to come over for help on her taxes...and then we went out for lunch. All for the good, mind you. Maybe tomorrow...
