Going with the flow...

Sunset. David Hayes, 2013.

Some time ago I made the decision that I needed "to go with the flow" more and not fight it so much. I did that for awhile but recently I noticed that I'm back into my fighting stance. Not good. Feeling overwhelmed...indecisive...frustrated. Not good. Maybe it's time to throw away all the to-do lists I've created as of late. Could be a place to start!

Recipe for Sunset: (quite simple actually...)

1. Open FX Photo Studio HD
2. Crop to taste, apply the Tokyo filter followed by the Ancona filter. Adjust both to taste.
3. Save and enjoy...

Love this! Would make a wonderful painting as well. Great lines! Just throw away your lists and make new ones!!!

This is another beautiful photo, Dave. I can feel your frustration and understand the fighting stance.
Thankfully I went out on a limb, which you might like to try, and did something out of my comfort zone.....an installation piece. It was created in one week (well, I've been collecting bits and pieces for years) and is now part of an exhibition at the Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery for two weeks. I feel inspired and exhilarated again about making art.

This image is beautiful. Be happy just knowing that you can create "beautiful art" where ever you are at.

This image is special - dramatic and serene at the same time. Looks to me like the image is itself "flowing" between two moods. Hmmm...art imitates life??
