Shelled Life

Shelled Life. David Hayes, 2012
i365 project, 152/365 (Perfectly Clear HD, Snapseed, Photocopier, MokuHanga HD)

I don't know....I like this...but it's not one of my best. This is an interesting recipe, but I think it's better suited to use with a landscape...at least that's where I saw it used elsewhere. Give it a try...let me know what you think.

Captured still life using my iPhone4 camera app....cropped it square in Camera Roll.
The original exposure left a lot to be desired....so I first ran it through Perfectly Clear HD and then through Snapseed where I used "Tone Image" and adjusted everything!
Opened in Photocopier...applied the "Bruegel - Bethlem" from the Painting filters.
Opened in Moku Hanga HD:
1.) In Multi-Block: Tan & Brown.
2.) Adjustments: everything...to taste.
3.) Black Boost.
4.) Paper Tint: Gray
5.) Border #7

Interesting! Quite stark after the clocks, nice contrast. And I see a couple of apps I don't have. Yet...
