Bonus Recipes!!!

Fungus 2

Because it's Thursday...I've decided to post two "bonus" recipes. These are special because the original images where captured by my Australian friend, Carol Cantrell, of Barnacle Goose Paperworks. We've been trading tips about apps for a while now...so I suggested that we swap images and have a go at what we get.

This first image is of a gigantic fungus...that looked a lot tamer when I got it! Not so much now! Here's the recipe:

Opened image in Camera+:
1.) Clarify
2.) Square Crop
3.) Diana Effect
4.) Light Grit Border
Save.
Open in King Camera:
1.) Promatik texturizer
2.) Sat. Red
Saved!

Spider Lamp

This second recipe starts with an image of an old lamp covered in spider webs! A bit strange to begin with...so I thought...let's see how much stranger could I get!!

Recipe:
Open image in Perfectly Clear...and let it do it's stuff.
Save.
Open this in PS Express and crop to tighten composition.
Save.
Open in iColorama:
1.) Tone: Bleach
2.) Style: Edges (Intensity & Features @ 100)
3.) Effects: Vignette (Intensity & Features @ 82/56 respectively)
Save.
Open one last time in Iris:
Adjust brightness and contrast using a mask to bring out the lamp.
Saved.

My thanks to Carol for sending me these images. It's one thing to work on your own, but to edit someone else's is a fun challenge!! Anyone else want to swap and edit??

I went into the garden to look at the lamp - Dave's version is way more beautiful than the real thing. Great work Dave! And thanks, Holly, why don't you join in?
