Talk. David Hayes, 2012.
i365 project, 108/365. (Toon Paint, Photo Artista - Haiku, PS Express, Word Foto, FX Photo Studio)

Several weeks ago, Seth Apter of The Altered Page issued an open call for work for his project, "The Pulse of Mixed Media." In this call...and you can read all the details by clicking on the link...you could answer any or all of three questions. I chose to answer question #1: The Artistic Ingredient: If your artwork could talk, what would it say?" This is my answer.....

The background portrait of myself was created using Toon Paint and Photo Artista - Haiku.
I cropped this square using PS Express.
Word Foto translated the image using words that I felt my art would say. (I used the "Comic" filter with this...liking the pun.)
FX Photo Studio helped me put the red into some of the words, using the "Red Lense" filter, masking what words I wanted red. I finished it with the "Photo Frame #5" filter!

Wow! Toonpaint is new to me - back to the app shop I go. This is so complex and looks so great. That's a really big recipe, can't wait to try it.

Indeed it is. Especially great when written in red.
