Shells

Shells. David Hayes, 2012
i365 project, 114/365 (100 Cameras, Snapseed, FrameMagic)

I've been having a good time iphoneographing ordinary objects found around my house....and turning them into something "interesting". This image is one of those studies....

Recipe:
Cropped within the iPhone camera app...
100 Cameras: "The scars of the black forest " (With adjustments for yin/yang)
Saved this....
Reopened in Snapseed: "Center focus - fog". Then used "Selective Adjust" for brightness to tone down a few overly bright areas.
Saved this...
Used FrameMagic to give it a gray border and a bit of shadow to set it off...
Saved...and posted!

its great - I love it - and I love you are looking around the house for things to photograph - the most ordinary objects are the best!

Interesting how we can find so much around the house that can inspire our art. Nicely done, Dave!

One of my favourite subjects, Dave, but I haven't photographed my shells with the iPhone or iPad - yet! Maybe you've set me off on yet another exciting path. Beautiful photo, of course, and as I am Barnaclegoose, I really love those barnacles.
