Clematis

Clematis. David Hayes, 2012.

i365 project, 120/365 (Iris).

This was just to be the first step in an image I was building around my shot of a clematis vine....but it turned out so well I thought it should be featured on its own. Come back tomorrow to see the finished version....

Recipe:
Started off with a snap of a clematis...I think I posted this on Instagram when I did it...
Opened in Iris....
1. Cropped square
2. Sharpen
3. Auto Adjust: Tungsten
4. Grunge: Grunge
5. Grunge: Grunge.

That's right....I hit the Grunge filter twice...by accident....I didn't think it would do anything but the second "click" built on the first to give a double-grunge effect. Live and learn...

I love the colors and grunge in this. Plus, I just happen to really like clematis.

Fancy double grunge producing something so very beautiful! The centre is just gorgeous.

I'm glad you decided to keep both versions b/c I agree that this one is already fabulous like this!
